Mr David Coombs-Farnsworth
Adjutant, Radio & Squadron IT
"Having been a cadet at Market Harborough Squadron, I moved on to assist in the setup and running of 2600 Rothwell Squadron, I finished my cadet career at 422 Corby Squadron.
I then returned to Rothwell as a uniformed member of staff, as the Squadron Warrant Officer for a few years before leaving the organisation.
Introducing my son to the Air Cadets nearly 19 years later, I was encouraged to rejoin the Squadron as a Civilian Instructor to bring my knowledge and experiences to our members.
I'm a qualified electro-mechanical engineer and ex-Special Constable with many hobbies that gives me a broad basis to inspire todays cadets.
The ATC sparked several interests that I have built on and still do today.
I regularly enjoy clay pigeon shooting, I'm a keen drummer and I am a radio amatuer.
My avaiation interests stretched to flying my own paramotor that I will have to revisit one day."
